The following guidelines were put in place out of need, for sake of ease and consistency. Please keep them in mind
when submitting something to the Scroll and be kind to your editor(s).
Keep it under 5,000 words, longer work will be accepted, but it better keep our interest. We prefer short and riveting.
Remove any hard page breaks in the document, they will have to be stripped before your work can be posted to the scroll.
Remove any hard line breaks, paragraphs should be continual and formatted only by the document editting program. (Poetry
excluded)
Use plain text only, no color. We prefer documents be submitted in Word or WordPad or Notepad (i.e.
Rich Text Format).
Double space between paragraphs. Please do not indent any paragraphs.
Submit it in Times
New Roman or Arial fontsets only, point size 10.
Post the article as an attachment only. Please refrain from pasting
it directly into the e-mail.
Left justify the document.
Remove any styling or auto-formatting. It all
has to be stripped before it gets posted anyway.
Include your signature in the document. (Please remove any special characters.)
