One who speaks of Home Stones should stand, for matters of honor are involved here.
Tarnsman of Gor, Book 1 by John Norman: page 27
The pages are lightly touched by My gloved hands. I carefully open the first scroll. I cannot believe it. Finally
I will read again the treasured words of Scribe Norman past later through many ages to Torm Scribe of the Blue Robes of devotion.
Yes, this is My opportunity to read and scribe down notes of generations of conceptual ideologies of how I long ago fell in
Love with this planet. My planet called Gor. Gor, My Homestone that calls to Me, through the wind to stand once more for matters
of honor. I begin to read as I lay out My scribe tools of rence paper, inkpot well and quilled pens. Quietly looking across
the fires, I see for an ehn tha past remembering that day long ago that I first remembered hearing the Tales of A Handful
of Earth, and a Tarnsman of Gor, named Tarl Cabot. Letting My mind travel, I smile reading and taking notes on the rence paper.
With elegant, gloved hands; I take up My quill after opening the inkpot, dipping the tip of the quill into the ink, and slowly
I begin to write:
Summary of Tarnsman of Gor

The History of Tarl Cabot began long ago on earth. His last name Cabot, many make the supposition that it came forth
from the fifteenth century Italian name Cabato.
In my research, from earth archives, one name of a great Artist of unique expression was Rachael Cabato. She
made a twenty-four inch statue of a spiritual god that depicted in her eyes the progression of humanity in sculptural form
using many objects.
From reading, Tarl Cabot's history stems from a long history of Tradesmen, probably of Bristol. His aunt was well
known for running her seamstress shop; and although she was an avid businesswoman one could supposition by her being able
to have the money to take Tarl Cabot in after the death of His mother, at Tarl's young age of six years of age. His aunt lacked
understanding or compasssion. Not once did she tell Tarl Cabot that she loved Him. Now keeping that in mind the story unfolds
of a young man reflecting.
Tarl reflects on not just how he was teased as a child for having bodacious red hair; but also for being larger in physique
than many of his classesmates, as a youth.
Can you imagine being teased and ridiculed amongst your peers then coming home
and not being nurtured or encouraged or told he was loved. These emotions truly set the tone for Gorean balance and the backdrop
for Gorean Men need for women to know their place.
One woman can indeed affect the honor of Men. How they deal with women, be they Free women or slaves.
Tarl Cabot is
definitely a descendant of Merchants, from his aunt being a successful seamstress and businesswoman to his being academically
prepared somewhat for life; the story begins..Tarnsman of Gor.
